Iran is prepared to resume nuclear talks with Washington as long as it is approached with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has stated.

The Iranian diplomat said exclusively dialogue worked, and revealed fresh requests had been made by go-betweens to resume negotiations with the US government. He claimed Iran did not have unreported enrichment locations, and Iran was not yet able to authorize the global atomic watchdog to inspect bombed nuclear sites for safety concerns.

Walking a Difficult Route

The foreign minister is navigating a difficult course since Iran does not want be perceived to be proceeding from a situation of disadvantage, and he emphatically stated that Iran had come out more powerful militarily and mentally from the coordinated strike on its nuclear sites in June.

He was addressing at a security conference in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "an inalienable right to process nuclear material within its borders that it will always maintain" – the main reason of the stalemate in the prior discussions.

Afterward, Western states employed their privilege to reinstate international penalties, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.

Magic Solution Proposed

Iran's diplomats stated they felt they had achieved a "magic solution" to the nuclear fuel concern in earlier negotiations, when it was settled an local partnership with Washington's engagement could enrich uranium. Each party would have been able to claim victory since domestic enrichment would have remained and the US could be confident that Iran's nuclear programme was solely for peaceful purposes.

The Iranian foreign ministry has been criticized of inactivity in the face of Washington's unmediated tactics, but Iran says negotiations is not part of a performance.

The citizens of Tehran have developed more resilient, more united, and more supportive of the administration and the country in the face of this invasion."
