The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a diverse cast of characters, and a gripping narrative including celestial beings, fiends, and malevolent powers growing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Revealing details for the third episode of the new season are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the initial group of characters who will separate from the central cast to embark on their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Prelude, intertwining the personal journeys before splitting into three distinct groups: Fighters, Schemers, and Seekers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

According to the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Upon first impression, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander might seem out of place, but the actions of episode 3 show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team understands precisely where to head next after a intense opening clash with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise started the story’s plot—used the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.

Casimir then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in the northern region, above the urban center, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Individual Reasons

Secondly, each character has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, wants revenge.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • However, their position as key figures in the influential clan could help the group enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The fighter pledged a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are hunted by the powers that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city too risky:

  • Thimble and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
  • Teor is wanted dead by the clan.

This means them few options but to journey toward the remote area in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to form the Questers and Schemers parties.

Fans can expect learning which characters will be in which group in the story’s last Overture episode, released on the upcoming Thursday.
